Oled kutsutud kohtuma…
…kunstiga, mis on jäänud pooleli.
...kunstiga, mis on soga.
…kunstiga, mis on tolmuga kaetud.
...kunstiga, millel on potentsiaali.
...kunstiga, mis on võib-olla halb.
...kunstiga, mis pole võib-olla nii hull.
...kunstiga, mis on võib-olla hea.
...kunstiga, mis jäi sahtlisse.
...kunstiga, mida ma ei näidanud.

Happy Days

The starting point of this work has been inspired by Philoctetes and his time on the island of Lemnos in combination with the act of celebration. In the process I have been looking at how us humans have been able to create an environment for ourselves in which we are the fastest and strongest. Reality where we can hide our fragility. Reality where we are constantly waiting to experience something special. A reality that is obsessed with more and where things happen fast. “Happy days” is trying to ignore this reality and start out with nothing. And then wait…

“Happy days” is a homage to patience.
